SAAF PUPES COURSE 1/84 WEBSITE

This site is dedicated to the members, of the South African Airforce Pilots Course 1/84, who are no longer with us. They were: Leon Du Plessis, Richard Glynn, Johan v Niekerk, Jarl Clase and Anthony Mathers. WE SALUTE YOU!

It is now 30 years since wings!

 

Glenn Myburgh booked a table for us at the Bertus Basson Restaurant at the Spice Route wine farm‎, Paarl. There is the CBC Brewery on the premises as well as other restaurants. What a manificent venue!!

 

We all (Glenn & Anne-Marie Myburg, Gustave & Joan Sadie, Charles & Charlene Bron, Hendri & Amanda Coetsee and Greg & Renèe Smith) had a wonderful time. 

Glenn's words of wisdom: "Hi guys, it was fantastic to be reunited with everyone after all these years...30 years! As is common knowledge, we each influence each other in some way in each others lives and how more significant was ours that we nurtured when on our Pupes course so long ago. I am grateful that I was part of our course 1/84. In spite of my lack of Afrikaans, each one of you played a part in supporting and helping me in my mission to achieve my SAAF wings. Yet here I am many years later realising that those were the "baby steps" necessary to get me where i am today. To all of you, thank you for all that you meant and mean to me. It was thus great to be able to reunite again with you all. Thank you and well done to you all. I look forward to our next get together! Fly safe!"

It is important to regularly change the content on our site and make updates to the information that we display. Doing this will help us to get more return visits from you. Please send me your life stories and pictures too. At the moment only my own (Hendri's) pictures are up. Please supply me with your own and I will set up your own picture pages!
